Default 1933 fordor rear fender mounting

Does the fender attach directly to the body or is there an additional mounting bracket?

Puzzled by the question. On my car, the rear fender attaches to the body (& running board, & gas tank cover). There is a bracket that reinforces the mounting for the tail light stand. Where would this "additional mounting bracket" go ?
I'm a little slow - I might be missing something ? JMO

my rear fenders seem a little flimsly, They are metal but perhaps they are not original.
I sorry to hear about your condition, hope it improves.

It won't be flimsy when it is firmly attached per bobH's instructions.

there should be fender braces that attaches to the underside of the front fender and to the frame
