Default started part 4

connected tyre pump to fuel line it blew back to tank removed blockage, then no prob car running fine, note to self do not run out of gas. thanks for all replys.

Gotta be careful here. If you blew something back into the tank, it's just sitting there waiting to be sucked back into the line. All kinds of interesting things wind up in a tank- kids deposit band aids, tank linings break up....

yep did think that but car never much left on street so dont think anything been put in there, prob just rust/ sediment dragged in with low fuel,see how it goes hope ok!! will see, if more trouble then tank out.

glad to hear it vic, does sound like you have something floating about inside the tank though. maybe one to sort over the winter.

If you can drain your tank from the bottom theirs no gurantee that you drained all the crap out of the tank. I've found out the hard way, that a lot of the rust is from the top of the tank. Unless you get the tank boiled out it will happen again again again and again. After cleaning it out, coat it with a tank sealer.
