Default Oil puking out of road draft tube on 1940 flathead

Hi. Firing up a good 1940 flathead. Before it ran fine. I changed the front pulley to a double belt and put my McCullough supercharger on it. Now it's puking out oil from the front bottom road draft tube.

We did pull the engine a couple times and the tail hung down pretty steeply and some oil came out of the bellhousing but I just thought it was because of the steep angle. And advise?

Sounds like air pressure from the charger is putting pressure in the pan?? See if you have air comming out of the dipstick or oil filler. G.M.

Another factoid. The supercharger fills up with oil from the oil line on the block, and then returns to the valve valley through a brass fitting that I drilled into the top center of the intake about 1.5 inches behind the generator mounting pad. Could I have drilled in the wrong spot and the oil is dumping right over the road draft tube in the block? Is that possible?

BINGO!!!!! The intake gasket is a solid centered gasket with only holes for the road draft tube, etc. My oil return line was dumping right on top of the solid gasket and then out the road draft tube. Basically the same idea as putting Seran Wrap on a toilet seat!

Cutting out some of the front center of the Gasket right now and then I'll report back.

Oil filter return is OK through the fuel pump or distributor bolt but the blower bearings need a LARGE flow of oil to and from them. G.M.
