Picked up a set of Echlin CS47 points and FA54 condensor --
Now made in Mexico. Anybody that's running them care to comment on how the quality compares to the old USA product?

think they have been made there for a while. in 7 years i have not had a problem with any Echlin tune up parts (points, condenser, cap or rotor) i used. i replaced all thaose parts once a year as part of my preventative maintance program on the 50s cars i drove daily.. don

I agree , the cs47s are good quality. Use plenty of lube ( i soak them in marvel oil, and clean off with brake clean before installation) makes them wear in better .....
