Default Y block shop

I received great responses to my first post. Thanks to all of you. I am looking for a respected y block mechanic in the s.w. Pa. Area. Anyone have any first hand experience? Ron Fox

Ron, if you do find someone, don't procrastinate. Nobody is getting any younger. The handful of Y-block experts I know are scaling back. Finding someone to do other than a stock rebuild will be even harder.

Ron: ike 55blacktie said; Vintage, Collector 50 Car Mechanics are getting extremely difficult to find; it just may be a great time; via asking questions, doing research and forums like this that you begin to learn; do the work yourself. It can prove extremely rewarding; good luck

If you have not checked out Y-blocksforever forum join up. There are fellas there that know everything about them and will answer questions.

See this post on the HAMB
https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/...#post-14672130

Joe Vigorita and the shop is ECAM (east coast auto machine) he's in Glenside Pa 19038 and his number is 215-885-3510

The post was about flatheads but said he does other stuff as well. Might be worth a call. JMO

Also, might help to add at least your general area to your profile.
