Aftermarket starter motor 272 Y block
Hello all, seems my starter slowly giving up the ghost and i will be needing replacment have 3 speed colum shift box is a 3HD any particular makesout there you used pleasae?

I've used the Power Master starters.
Small, light & much easier to install |

Find a local auto electric shop and go see them. You'll be way better off to use your own core and have them do their magic.

That's the same one that I bought out of the states. Very easy fit, though as I said on another post it is only supported by the two ears that you bolt it through. Worked alright though, I just didn't think it was terribly robust as the base plate is aluminium and I was worried about it breaking one of those mounting ears. I ended up putting the original back in. The mini starter did sound weird starting as well.
