modern paint code/mix for 1965 thunderbird interior color?

I am looking to match light aqua interior paint from a 1965 Thunderbird in a modern ppg formula.
I had them try the spectrum analyzer and it could not get a good match due to the texture.

I do not have the data plate, it is an interior that was put into my 51 Mercury from 65 t-bird.

The formulas and composition of paints have changed so much that the early codes aren't much help.

PPG was able to provide a perfect match for my 58 Edsel Pacer for my paint supplier. Spend a little time with one.

99% sure the color names and color code letters that Ford used only relate to their in-house PR/marketing and documentation. Sometimes paint names were changed in different years even tho the same paint was used.
Example: code "T" Skyhaze Green in '54 is the same paint color as Thunderbird Blue in '55.
And the same 'name' might be used for slightly different paint colors.
Ford paint color names and code letters could change from year-to-year, or not. As the Marketing Dept. could chose to keep things 'new & improved'.

The various paint manufacturers have their own letter/number color formula designations not directly related to the in-house FoMoCo numbers.
As mentioned, the older ingredients may no longer be available, some discontinued by govt regulations.

OP asks a simple question and the GREAT DEBATE starts ...

If I guessed right on the INT TRIM CODE from his color description, the INT TRIM CODE is 27 - LIGHT AQUA CRINKLE ALL VINYL.

Where as a regular auto paint store may not have the info or interest to find the paint code, there are suppliers that specialize in older cars -

FORD bought it's paints and supplies from outside vendors such as PPG - DITZLER. These companies were suppliers to the assembly plants and made the colors to FORD specs.

There is no big mystery.

Try www.paintscratch.com if you have the codes and the name of the color. They may be able to help you. They helped me for a Subaru color that I have on my 54 Ford.
