Default alternator on a 1941 ford

Hello,
I have converted this car to 12 volts and want to put on a 2g ford alternator. i am confused on what wire goes where?
green and red says it goes to the charge light.
yellow and white looks like it goes to batt
black and orange goes to batt

there is no charge light on this car and why would the yellow and white go to the batt also?
anyone done this on a car before??? HELP

Mike

save your self a lot of trouble and make a bracket to use the chevy 1 or 3 wire alt, the only wire needed on a 1 wire is a wire from the alt to battery, i dont like them , i prefer the 3 wire type, altho only only 2 are needed, one to excite the alt and one going to batt
