Default 29 Sport Coupe Belt Rail

My 29 Sport Coupe has a usable original nailing strip but the cover trim is missing about a foot on one end and other end is missing 4 or 5 inches and is very rusty/thin.
What is anyone using for the belt rail moulding on the 28-29 Sport Coupes? Suggestions?
Thanks,
Randy

Someone here once mentioned that he found a moulding at a boat shop that looked real close to the original Model A belt. I just did a search but didn't find the thread. Maybe someone remembers that or knows if it works. I'd like to find the same thing for my 29 business coupe.

I have a really good belt rail cover trim but need it for my 29 sport coupe project. I didn't know there was a nailing strip also. I haven't gotten that far on my car yet so anyone who has info for RKATK if you could post photo's also would help.

I used a brass trim strip purchased from Universal Tire. I think it was called a "D" molding, comes in 7 or 8 ft. lengths. I mounted it directly to the wood back rail with brass flat head wood screws then filled the heads. Seems to be the same width and shape as the original and mine has been on for 30 years and looks great.
