39 half-ton question
On the side of the cowl where they would appear to be covered by the hood side panels are three fairly good size holes on each side. There is apparently some type of grommet used to fill those holes that I no longer have. Someone posted a parts number and supplier for the part in the past, but I cannot find the post. If someone could post the part number and a supplier, I would greatly appreciate it.

Re: 39 half-ton question
I have had a lot of experience with '36-41 Ford 1/2 ton pickups and a few 1.5 ton trucks.
I don't recall ever seeing a weight tag on any 1/2 ton until the post war years, '46-48. I think it was in '48 with the new '49 Ford trucks that data/serial number plates started to appear on the glove box doors. Most of the other truck manufactures, GM, Dodge were all using data plates on their trucks. One of the exceptions to data/serial number plates on commercial vehicles is if the vehicle was a government vehicle.
