Close, Kiribati is the first to see the sun due to a quirk in the international date line and tilt of the Earth etc. Although, it could be argued that Antartica is the first as well, or Russia in the northern summer, or..............................

Can't you just imagine the poor slave that spend decades chipping away at a stone for the calendar...he gets to 12/21/12, throws the chisel down and says 'screw it.'

We'll see tomorrow at 5:11am central time. I'll be asleep, so the zombies will have to pry me out of my bed

Im still arround, even "Wettervorhersage" wasnt too good over here

BTW
End of time has to be on Tuesday 31st of Aug.4500 as my
Windows 7 doesnt take dates after that (it even doesnt know
that next day might be a wednesday).
If world will exist by 1st of Sept 4500, i will sue Windows for
that proven obsolescence.

Well restated! If us Christians would be about the things we should be doing while we are living on the earth, then all the other questions as to other stuff are either answered or become irrelevant. I really question the depth or even existence of faith of those who profess, but are so glaringly, obviously outside the basics of biblical doctrine.

Feel a strange "aura" around me.

5:55 am EST Friday.
1st cup of Joe, no more "aura". Oh, I do see that I have some bills due today, guess the end times missed me (and AMEX).

It ends when a strange kid calls you "Daddy" in front of your wife.

My Dad, who was/is a Baptist preacher, said that if by chance a Baptist Preacher did figure out the exact time/date, the Good Lord would just change it so as to make a fool out of another Baptist Preacher.
