A related question - how do know what a door key code is? I need keys for my '35 doors.

Cutting keys without the code. Locksmiths can do a key impression when they do not have the key code. Buy the correct key blanks and take them and the cylinder to a locksmith and we will do what this guy below does.

Are the doors keyed different than the ignition key? On my 1937 the door key and the ignition key are the same. To find out what the code is for the door lock, you can remove the door lock cylinder and the code should be printed on the side. The difficulty in removing the cylinder can be the small slotted set screw that retains it can be rusted in place. Proceed carefully and use a good penetrating oil. The set screw is located through a small hole on the edge of the door. You do not want to break off the head of the slot.

The ignition and door are different. I see this small hole in the passenger door that lines up with the lock cylinder. But it does not look like a set screw. More like a pin of some sort.

Looks like a set screw that someone tried to drill out.

Zeke, Your car is correct in that the door and ignition keys match.
You are also correct in that the set screw in '37 is slotted, NOT a recessed hex type.
