Wanted: 1940 Ford deluxe coupe exterior trim / moulding

Hi - I just went through my exterior trim / moulding for my 1940 Ford deluxe coupe project and found that I am short the passenger side door and both rear quarter panel pieces. I seem to have a lot of sedan pieces and not much coupe stuff. I need very nice pieces, ideally just need polishing. I realize that after market are available, but always prefer original if possible. I can buy or trade sedan trim. Thanks

You might try the Early Ford Store in San Dimas, they have lots of stainless trim (gennie stuff)

hi , I have two coupe door trim pieces that have groves in them would these be for a forty deluxe?

I don't think there's any difference between a deluxe and a standard coupe door and quarter mouldings.

Thanks for the responses. As far as I know the "grooved" trim is for the 1940 Ford. I presently have the drivers door trim and I think I have found the passenger side. I am still looking for the rear quarter trim. If I don't find something soon I will try the The Early Ford Store.

I bought trim from Bob Drake,and they appear the same as the original.They weren't really expensive either.
