Removing 2-part primer

Am red-in-the-face to admit it publically, but I failed to properly clean my HVLP cup the last time I used 2-part primer … short of ordering a new cup, is there any way to clean the residual primer from the inside of the cup? Tried liquid paint remover and only removed a layer of skin from my fingers. I do not have access to blasting cabinet.

You could try soaking it in lacquer thinner, but that may not even work since you tried paint stripper with no joy.

I think we've all done this before, I know I have, but I was in a rush to get to the BBQ place for their "all you can eat bbq rib lunch special"

After shooting 2 part epoxy, I use a cleaner designed for paint guns and I find it removes older paint from exterior areas that was missed. A few days soak in the cleaner should do it, just be careful not to soak rubber gaskets in the cleaner as they may not survive an extended soak.

A good brand of paint remover will do the job. I use Spray Gun Cleaner from William Barr company. I would suggest you find Strypeez or a brand called Aircraft paint remover.

Put a hot air gun to the outside and COOK it out. Hold the gun up close, like 1" for a couple minutes & get things smokin!
Who knows...the primer might release in one solid chunk.
If it's thick you can drill a bunch of holes & bust it out with a screwdriver.
If it comes to solvent I'd try acetone at this point followed by lacquer thinner.

Try pure Acetone first. IT melts Epoxy Surfboards so it might be the answer.

put in carb cleaner it wil take severial times to break it up so you canpick the solids out
