1932 Cabriolet lap belts mounting?
I put lap belts in a 32 3W Coupe no problem, I put lap with shoulder with retractors in a 32 Vic but in the Cabriolet everything is so tight between seat and quarters, and no body bolt holes close at hand, i suppose i could fasten lap belts to the seat frame itself just for some low-speed protection? hate to think about an accident...but it happens. Anyone done this? Maybe the Model A Coupe guys have the same dillemma....

dont ever fasten the seat belts to the seat, fasten to frame or a metal cross member, wont pass inspection if mounted any other way

Never fasten seat belts to the frame only body. Sometimes the body shifts and seat belts can seriously hurt you. Use body X members or re enforce the body floor.

Seat belts in a Cabriolet attach to the floor similar to the 32 3w, remember to use seat belt anchor plates under the floor not fender washers.
