Default 48 coupe spring hanger question

Today I had the left front backing plate off. Looking at the spring hanger part of the wishbone. it appears like it is sort of bent down looking. That is, I would expect the double ended bolt (shackle bolt?) that passes through the spring hanger should be basically parallel to the ground. Mine is not. I found this picture on the web and am wondering if it is supposed to be a little bit tilted.

I can't specifically answer your question, but the spring bracket/shackle pin must be aligned so that the spring sits flat against the seat in the crossmember. I THINK I remember reading somewhere that the crossmember isn't exactly parallel with the frame. Also, compare both brackets for the same angle if you think one is bent.
