I know its not very pretty the way it is, but look at the possibilities. remove the continental kit, nice flathead installed, nice wheels and tires, get the stance right, I might take it home for a couple grand.

I really like the cover over the 'rumble' seat. Wonder if those great hinges will withstand any speed over 5mph? |

Fortunately or unfortunately, that’s the way of the world in the other side of the hobby. It wouldn’t surprise me if properly promoted at one of the big auction houses that brought as much as a real E code bird. The resto mod movement attracts more people with more money than the collector side in some cases. Birds are an example. Base model Vette’s on modern frames with LS’s are another. Those of us who smile from driving an old car that feels like an old car are fading out. I’ve been at Del Mar and The GNRS and seen the level of vehicles. Different world.
This only address the bird. Not the other nightmares |
