Radiator support rod cup washer question
This question is for fine point people, as I doubt a regular model A person would no about the cup washer. On 1928 model A's the radiator support rods are tubular in nature, not solid like the later vehicles. There is a cup washer used between the gas tank bracket and the nut on the tubular rod. I am pasting in a picture of a car with the cup washer below - it is Tom Wesenberg's phaeton. My question is: what is the correct finish for the two washers - cad, raven or unfinished? I know this is minor detail, but I would like to get the correct finish on the washers.

Quote:
The correct finish for the radiator support rod is "B" (Black paint) and the correct finish for the support rod nuts and washers is "R" (Raven finish).
