Default Fuel injection reload

Enclosed pictures of my latest version Flathead. New EM-TRON Ecu
can tune each cylinder. Will take spark out of a cylinder that is detonating
and put it back in asap. 2 & 3 do not like each other and they will swap
detonation often. The EM-TRON recognizes it and tunes that individual
cylinder to stop the detonation. The cylinders can also be tuned with
pressure reading spark plugs. You advance the spark in a cylinder till the pressure falls off then retard a bit. You need a very good engine dyno
to accomplish these features. engine has 8 coils. Put 1400 miles on it the last 3 weeks and it has never ever been this happy.
French block 304 cu in Isky max 1 on 108 centers. 8 1/2 to 1 Com.

Really nice work. I love your crank trigger ignition Did you do the machine work? It looks as good as it works I bet. Are you running a intercooler or is that just your intake .

Hello Quickchange
To answer your question, I do all the machine work. The item that looks like an intercooler, is a plenum. It sits on top of the original throttle bodies that I
removed the throttle plates and made smooth runners. I had developed the runner lenght earlier and didn't want to mess with it. It cold starts before the belt makes a loop. We will be installing the cruise map this week. It will have a
town map and a highway map. Just flip a switch. I am looking to swap of the C4 for a 4 or 5 speed. It will pull more gear even with the Columbia engaged.

Kerker , Your work is killing I am very impress with both cars, Your attention to detail is off the chart. I am working on a Ardun in my shop for my latest project. I have been trying to get the correct intake runner length for the side draft Webers going on the Scott blower . I have the base plate and plenum made working on runner lenght I wish I was smart enough to do fuel injection. Its even more efficient than webers.

I think an engine management system is the future of our old engines. They need not be designed for preformance, but economy and reliable operation with present day fuels. A stock engine wuld always be in proper tune under any operating condition. The best of both worlds. I understand someone maked a throttle body that looks like a Stromburg 97. Can't beat that with a stick.

Hi Charlie
Is this the Charlie I know in Denver? here is the finished Hollywood.
All work done in the shop. Bumpers, grille windshield frames etc etc all
fabricated in the garage. Fully independent ride.

Regarding the crank trigger in the first photo posted, what is the purpose of the gap at the 1 o'clock area?

Hi Mike
The gap tells the computer the position of the crank relative to firing #1
every 720 degrees. The slots on the front of the wheel are for turning the engine
with a custom spanner wrench.

I get it...I'd counted the teeth and figure if two more were there, you'd have 24...and maybe using some sort of waste spark on other cylinders...man I over thought it..lol!

Awesome work you've done there.

I am a techno junkie. I love bells and whistles, however the computer driven injector seems out of place on a flattie. g

You need a sensor on the camshaft so the engine knows where Number 1 cyl is,on the set up my boy made for his 6 cal holden engine he made on to fit inside the cam gear.
