Default Trucks awaiting export...

Here's a picture of trucks (and a couple of cars) awaiting export. The picture came from the book "Seaport" about the New York waterfront. The caption writer erred, calling the time era "mid 1920's."

Looking at the trucks/car models, from here it appears to be around 1937.

Since you were only 3, your excused from knowing that the Germans invaded Poland on Sept 1 of 1939. By Sept 1941 they were well into Russia and about to learn a terrible lesson.

Stenny, Yor are correct! I corrected my statement and I knew that. (brain Fart) :-)

Seems I have to reread everything I type several times and I still miss things. Oh well guess I'll never work in the space program!
