Default Carb venturis

Does anyone know how the venturis are measured? I assume it is at the top of the venturis passageway before it gets bigger. I am a little curio about the math that is involved there between the venturis and the throttle plates and if I could recreate it a little bigger?

I wouldn’t mess around with your Venturi. If you want a bigger Venturi, get a bigger carb. They are out there.

For all the bad press carburetors get from the fuel injection crowd these days they are actually a very precise design. If you go modifying the fundamental design element the rest of the carburetor systems are designed around (the venturi) you need to know how to modify everything else to compensate. A simple jet change isn't going to get good overall operations when you do big modifications. Please do not use racing carburetors as guidance unless you are racing, driveability is not a concern when you are only tuning for wide open performance.
