I can relate I lived in WR JCT for years. Most years never saw the bare ground until late April...I just had to go...left the 40 below January nights behind...

Got you beat. That's a 60 Chevy under the snow pile.
We are supposed to get 5-6 more inches today!

Both!
I think that we are above 150 inches for this winter. But this time last year we had just come out from under a 3 ft snowfall and no power for 5 days in some areas. Took the county 5 days before they got to my road to plow us out!
Oh look! Now the sun is shining!

Hey Ken, Sid, and you other guys... we love our snow here in southern Vermont, just not that much on the first day of spring. I wonder if Ol Ron has got himself dug out yet... I'll have to give him a call or send up some smoke signals so he can see em over the mountain between us. HAPPY SPRING!!! Toby

Torchie's right about the UP (Upper Peninsula) winters. No joke. Puts the rest of us to shame -- every year!

You are right about that Lonnie except I don't live in the UP. My family is from the Keweenaw Peninsula but moved south to get away from the snow.LOL
I live about an hour south on the Mackinaw Bridge. Right in the middle of the tip of the mit snow belt!

The Keweenaw used to average around 300 inches of snow a year. All the old house's have a door on the second story to use in the winter.
Torchie.
