That is a Marvel/Allstate carb. Sold aftermarket by Western Auto, Sears etc.... I've been told they are good carbs and I'm rebuilding one now to find out for myself.

Marvel-Schebler. They made models for airplanes, tractors, and other stuff. There's a fellow in our club who rebuilds them and his product is highly sought after. Members who use them seem to really like them, althoug I gather not so much for you. As I recall, leakage around the GAV is a common challenge, plus finding parts. Google has lots of info.

I have two of these units... always thought they were Tillys??? They work really well and seem to provide more power. Only problem is that I can't find any kits to rebuild them? Anyone have recommendations? wouldn't mind rebuilding them!

I bought a gasket set from these guys but it appears that they have more parts now, enough to call a rebuild kit??? It is missing quite a few key pieces though. Not sure of they'll sell just parts, you'll need to ask them. It's towards the bottom of the page and listed as Allstate 2405.
