Default New pic

My daughter just took some pic out of my camera and put them in the computer so I'll see if I can post a few. This is what I call a real 50's hot rod, a friend just built it out pieces. We'll see if he recognize it. Walt

My guess is there might be one of those classy little Walt Dupont medallions fastened to that flathead.

Nice example of a 50's rod but back then my wide whites would have come out of a paint can.

Walt,
You are becoming a computer wizard. Nice rod. Now who built the engine? My guess is it was that guy in Gardiner that talks with a funny accent.

Good stuff . . . looks like something my friend is going to build! Question from the guys that were there - did most guys replace the original headlights and run King Bees or other sealed beam lights? (If they could afford them?)

Here is one for you guys. I went up to Gardiner looking for Walt and stopped at several places asking where he lived (even the Lincoln dealer not far from him) No one I asked had ever heard of him. My question is, how can a guy be world famous and no body in Maine knows who he is ??? Pretty low profile don't ya think ?
