Default 1948 rear brake adjustment

Posting for a friend, any suggestion for adjusting the lower plates on the rear or front 1948 sedan. could be late 48, no covers visible. Any diagrams would be great, he is having problems getting them adjusted properly.

The 46-48 didn't have the adjustment on the bottom like the 39-40, Just the 2 adjustment up higher on the backing plate. Just use an 11/16 wrench and pull down on both sides. Walt

Here are the instructions for adjusting the 46-48 brakes. No adjustments on the bottom - only the top.
