1937 Ford Owners
It's the 75th anniversary of the 1937 Ford. Who owes one? I myself have an all original '37 standard fordor touring sedan.

Re: 1937 Ford Owners
I have a 1937 Tudor Slantback (Flatback). I am pulling it apart over the next couple months as work allows. My wife and I love the old girl. No rustouts but needs to be gone through. The Flathead let go of some coolant the last time we drove it but we loved the thumbs ups we were getting. I like the car as we can take other couples with us, but a coupe wold be cool as well.

Re: 1937 Ford Owners
Don,I have the same car except it,s Deluxe Touring Sdn. It,s been restored to look decent but it has an Ol'Ron 276 in it which is the best part of the car. Your car looks to be a real survivor, love the patina. Not many 37's without a lot of rust.

Re: 1937 Ford Owners
Working on my 37 Tudor slantback, long way to go. There wasn't any thing on this car not rusted through. Got the chassis done. Body may take some time. Thank God I have my 30 to put around in. Zeke

Re: 1937 Ford Owners
I have a '37 deluxe fordor touring sedan. It is also original with the original paint and interior. It has just under 60k miles on it and smokes a little. I think I'll just keep it that way as it runs well. It is a near carbon copy of the first car I ever owned which I purchased in 1950.

Re: 1937 Ford Owners
I bought my 37' in 06' it still has most of it's original paint and had zero rust when I bought it. I have kept the car stock other than dropped axle, juice brakes and t-5. I drive this car every day as my daily driver, it also serves as our weekend family car,as it's always more fun to go places in it rather than the Honda Pilot my wife drives. My dream is to one day own all body styles of 37's. You can view many pics of my 37' in my albums.

Re: 1937 Ford Owners
I have a 37 pick up, parked in 1953. Going back together very slow and having a time of my life. Everytime I take something apart I think, when was the last that was removed. I pulled the rear hubs off Saturday and there was wrote on one of the brake shoesr the left side L.F. SHOE I'm 64 years old I was 5 in 1953. this old truck has been waiting all of my life so I can restore it. Mybe I'm nuts but that sure makes you think.

Re: 1937 Ford Owners
I realize my '37 isn't exactly Ford Barn material, but I find the HAMB a little too extreme and traditional for me. Found as all original, needed lots of work, pretty much metal finished, now in epoxy stages. Bill
