Default Slinging oil opinions

This is on an engine that will have the magnets removed from the flywheel. There is a kit to put these paddle looking things on the flywheel, that will supposedly sling the oil enough to get some into an oil tube where the mag pickup post is. From there the oil flows down the tube to the front of the engine. I get all that.
A fellow I talked to suggested that this is a good way to beat the oil to death without really meeting the goal of getting the oil where it needs to go.
Is there a better alternative that somebody can explain?
I am new at this "T" thing, so I hope I have not been to vague with what I am after. You can also expect a host of questions in the coming months.
These critters are a bit different than the Model A's I have been screwing around with the past 15 years.

They work. there appears to be some issues concerning how their properly mounted. You might look into that.

Mag post oil lines are notorious for some being poor performers even with stock magnets on the flywheel. A line to the front from a drilled hole in the hogshead ( kits are available) will put out much more oil and work fine with flywheel paddles in place of the magnets.

Well, no you can't beat it to death. However you sure can cause it to foam and that isn't good.
