Safer to leave the air bag at home, and the weight saving will help on climbing hills.

John,
I knew an old lady that was her own "AIR BAG."She talked SO much in the Model A that she could make the winshield open by itself! Bill W.

That reminds me that Ladies, if a man says he will fix it , he will. There is no need to keep reminding him of it every six months.

You poor man, you've got it all backwards! Makes me think of the man that flipped his ring gear over when he "did" his rear end. Before Pat passed away, I could earn DOUBLE & even TRIPLE brownie points by doing "HONEY DO'S." Once as she was cleaning all her GOLD jewelry, she said, "Why don't you sell all this & buy yourself something FUN! When my beautiful black Mazda truck failed smog test, I was going to get a carb kit, she ran out, smiled, and said, "Why don't you just buy yourself a NEW truck?" No, I am not a wealthy man, but I bought a beautiful BLACK 2004 Dodge Dakota truck! When I found a good buy on a SECOND Model A, Pat said, "Go for it!" Pat's been gone 2 months & I catch myself making up imaginary HONEY DO lists. Am I a "sick" man or what??? The dog says I'm O.K! Bill W.

But Bill, if you jump everytime they hollar they don't appreciate it when you finally do. Model A stuff is my only excuse however. (I think she likes Model A's more than she likes me!)

Re: Air Bags for the Model A???
Wow! I think this is the opposite thread of the one about having a good wife. I have not experienced drudgery in marriage, as my wife is a joy to have in the car and very seldom has a "list." I suppose thats what makes her a joy. Others, even some of our own friends, do not have it so good in their marriage. But, as Bill has already experienced, if I lost her, it would make my heart ache daily and I would gladly do every item on a looooong list, if it meant still having her by my side. May God bless you, Bill. Though I do not know you, I think of your loss often and look to every day as a gift.
Yesterday, we celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary (yeah I know, a drop in the bucket, compared to some here). Doing things in the shop has never been an issue, as I usually have my sons and occasional daughter or two with me, showing them the ways of older times.

Re: Air Bags for the Model A???
I'd rather have a good wife than a good Model A.
But it's nice having both...

Your honey might like you more than Model A's if you added 3% high test gas to your Hai-Karate shaving lotion! (But don't get too close to the fireplace!) Bill W.

Re: Air Bags for the Model A???
Thanks Bill. I will try that 3% high test gas mix in my Hai-Karate. If nothing else it should make me jump higher and run faster. I know she will like that.

I finally jumped today! NO I didn't drink this concoction! Sitting at the computer in an early morning stupor, sans coffee, thought I heard 8 dog feet trecking down the hall! Buster T. Brown, my almost human Rat Terrier, appeared at the orfice door with a buddy! Looked like a Rat Terrier/Queensland mix. Nice dog, petted him, threw the ball, dogs played like old friends! I cited both mutts for doing 39 MPH in a 27 zone in the hall. 8 foot fence is intact, must have scaled the fence, or do dogs FLY? Took my pills, shaved, had coffee, mounted my Caddy Mobility Scooter, & cruised the block with the "mystery" dog, a few houses away, heard a voice, "Lanny! there you are!" Yes, Ryan, this IS Model A related as he tried to PEE on the coupe's tire, but alas, it was too high for the twirp on 18" jackstands! Bill W.
