Default f-1 bell housing, 4 speed.

Somewhere in my picking thru one of my friends' scrap parts I picked up a bell housing from a 1949 F-1. The owner was having his granny gear 4 speed swapped for a T-5. I passed on the trans but took the bell housing remembering something about using these for later trans swaps. Were there any adapters made for these bell housings?

Yes. Here is one I have for a 5-speed, they also make one for a Ford 4-speed OD.
