Default Need # PS hoses Cavileir rack-Ford pump

Asked this question on the another sight & couldn't get an answer. I put a new 80's Cavilier rack with no idea of what kind of fittings to use on my 54 Merc with a 302 & Ford pump. Does anyone know what type of fitting go on the rack. I think they are metric.

Why didn't you grab the pump off the chevy? because when you hook up the rack to the ford box the pressure might be different. I used a cavalier rack on my plymouth coupe and when i got it together the steering was real sensitive so much so I had to get a spring kit for the pump to change
the pressure. if I had known that in the beginning I would have used the chevy box to match it up. Just a thought. Ralph
