Default 1941 Ford Pickup Cab Spacers

Would any of you know what the species of the wood that was used as spacers installed between the cab and the frame rails? Also was there any preservative applied to those wood spacers?
Your responses are greatly appreciated
Thank you!

They were a very hard wood, I think maple. I got new ones from Bob Drake for my '38 pickup.

Lamar: Thank you! I appreciate your response. Maple is certainly a choice.
