OK, so my chances of finding any good shocks from the 4 I have are as they say 'slim to none'. I think I'll just let them sit in storage on the shelf in the cabinet and I'll get on with my car's brakes. I've been driving my car without shocks for a while so I will continue to do so, until I send mine in or buy some shocks that have been rebuilt. Thanks for everyone's input.

When John Holland did my shocks, he has cores from which he can rebuild your shocks if the ones you send him cannot be used. BTW use one of the Post Office fixed rate boxes for shipping them as they are heavy and will cost a fortune otherwise.
