Default Phoney Houdaille Shocks?

Looking at the shocks on my '30 pickup, no Houdaille to be found on the cap. Pulled the plug and there was what looked like motor oil inside. Just the words "Hydraulic Suspension". Even though the shock work, I think they are repops. Am I correct? I have a set of real "Paul Kagel" rebuilds that I've had for decades that I could use but they look like early shocks. Thanks: Fred A
