That is why I am going with the Superbright bulbs. I tried LED's and agree with you and Old Henry and will stick with the incandescent...just higher wattage....but not Halogen.

Old Henry, Congrats on 1000 posts. I enjoy reading about your experiences and adventures. Every get back to N. Colorado, let me know. Real close to Rocky Mountain Park! You might motivate to finish projects and drive them like you do.

I have done every trick in the book: paint the inside of the lights white, add aluminum foil and flashlight reflector, now the only thing left is the brighter bulb...
