Default I think a friend's coupe is the highest mileage

Actually it's a 1930 Sport Coupe with a documented 567,000 miles. The car was owned by the proverbial "Lil ole lady" who used it for delivering papers. The original engine was bored so many times it had to be sleeved. The original top is so fragile it can't be run on the road. A protective bonnet is being thought out. The car was originally sold by White Horse Motors in Perkasie, Pa. The woman died some years ago and the car went to my friend Ron Massey just before she died. Ron has owned it ever since. To see it, go to my profile and under the album title, Highest mileage Ford, there are the pictures.

Neat! Would love to see the documentation. I'm not disputing it, it would just be interesting.
