How do you clean a Tillotson
Can you soak the Tillotson in standard thinners to help clear the passges without damageing the pot metal?
What can you use to polish the outside of the Tillotson body to make it look clean and shiny? |

Re: How do you clean a Tillotson
I have successfully soaked Tillys in standard carb cleaner soak without any negative effects several times. Followed up with air and spray carb cleaner, again no ill effects

I soak them in lacquer thinner and have never had a problem. Use some fine steel wool to polish the outside just like cleaning rusty chrome or stainless.
