At least you can now sleep at night! Isn't it funny how we can start worrying about something like this . . . and it just plagues our mind until we go check it out and either see there is no problem or fix it.

Once my silly little mind fixates on what I perceive as a potential "issue" - there is no stopping the pondering . . .

Glad you checked it out and are happy with it!

Me, I actually put anti-seize on bolts like this . . . as I don't want them to get rusted into place! LOL

Glad you were able to get the bolt out and then back in with no damage.

Don't worry. 55 ft. pounds will work fine.
There's insufficient engine vibration SO bolt won't loosen as the rubber cushions on the motor mounts absorb vibration. Our flatheads don't have vibration dampner encased in the pulley.
