Trying to remove rear backing plate any help or ideas

Should just unbolt, what is giving you a problem? Have you already remove the drum?

Check to make sure there are no knicks or metal causing the backing plate to "hang up" on the raised boss where it is located. It is a very tight fit. I had that experience and carefully removed the metal burr. Car is a 40. See it below.

On back of plate I find two 3/4 nuts and also two 1" bolts that appear to hold plate on these I can not move they look like they hold the wishbone looking member on.I have purchased the newer style brake assembly to put on and have already done the front. If it would help to talk in person I will furnish my number.

They should just unbolt. There are two types that I am aware of, one uses a cotter-key and the other a locking nut.

It would help a lot if you would post a photo of what the back of your backing plate looks like as bolted to the car. Does your car have tube shocks? If so, the adapter kit for the lower shock mount does bolt through the radius rods and also through the backing plate. I don't recall there being any 1 in. bolts that are part of the OEM set up, but they may be part of a shock kit installed previously.
Below are posted several photos of the rear 1940 Ford backing plate which is the same as the 1941. There are only 4 bolts that hold the backing plate in place. Then there are the 2 lower brake adjusting "cam" bolts at the bottom that go through the brake shoes and also the 2 bolts on the back of each backing plate that are also used for brake adjustment.
The last 3 photos are of a rear I recently removed from a 41 Ford coupe. I am assuming you have removed the brake drum so that you can see the 4 square headed bolts that secure the backing plate.
Please post photos of what you are dealing with. I will be glad to talk with you about this. I am 6 hours away from you (one way) so photos sure would help.

The real key may be in the answer to post #2. DID YOU REMOVE THE DRUMS YET? If you haven't removed the drums yet the reference to two nuts and two bolts in post 4 may indicate that there have been "safety hubs" installed to keep the wheel from coming off in case of an axle failure. I also wonder about your reference to 1" bolts in post #4, do you mean diameter or head size. Pictures are good.

Here are photos of the after market tube shock kit that was installed on my 40 in 1963.
The special shoulder bolts supplied with the kit are longer than stock and go through the radius arms and backing plate. They replace the stock backing plate bolts. The socket that fits the bolts is 1 inch. So.......... perhaps this is what you have on your car. Photos 3 and 4 need to be rotated in your mind 90 degrees. both bolts are 1 inch.

Here is the complete lower shock bracket in the kit. You have to remove the brake drum first in order to remove these bolts.

OK guys I am sorry for not being clear on what I have done but yes drums are off. I had an older mechanic come by to take a look and also with a stronger arm and we removed the two bolts I was having a problem with and also other two smaller ones plate came off. 19Fordy pictures of shock kit are identical to what i have. Mr. "T": Really glad you had success. You mention of the 1 inch bolt was the needed clue. Those style kits are hard to find so don't throw them away. New parts could be water jet cut and welded together. If you need new hollow sleeves they can be easily made on a lathe.Those exact shock kits are no longer being made. Before you reassemble them paint them with a high quality paint and use anti seize on all threads. You may find it a little difficult to line up the radius rod bolt holes with the backing plate, but don't give up. Use a drift punch as a lever and don't tighten all the bolts until all bolts are in position. New forged kits are for sale on Fordbarn. Here ya go.
