I have a real-deal '30 steering wheel that feels like an old truck's steering wheel should feel. It has no cracks, but shows about 80 years of continuous wear. It is a great debate-starter because you can see the soy beans oozing out from under the black finish. I do think the is original, but it is somewhat mottled. It also has a very faint set of initials scratched (probably 65 years ago) on one spoke. The circumferential grooves are worn and almost gone. This is the perfect wheel for somebody that wants the true Model A feel, but doesn't want to deal with cracks. It won't work for my Vicky. I need something a lot more genteel and lady-like. I'd trade if you have a really good sissy wheel.
