Default Drive em in the snow! They won't melt!!

I left the 37 outside last night since I was working on a project in the garage yesterday, woke this morning to 3'' of snow,so I decided to drive her! You can't keep a good flathead down! amazing how quiet she rides in the snow, all the little squeaks and creaks disapear.

Cars always run better in the rain. I guess it is the same in snow as well. P.S. Never buy a car you test drive in the rain. LOL

Yesterday SF bay area had epic weather - high 70's, took the 49 station wagon on a drive. Come July, we'll be freezing, while you're enjoying the summer!

Yeah, I've been known to drive my car in the snow a time or two.....with no top.

and 40 miles later I got to my destination no worse for wear.
Cleaned Big Olds up, put him in his display, then promptly won first place in my class in the Detroit Autorama. I don't think too many first place winners actually drove their cars there that night.

Best looking early Ford V8 pu truck that Henry ever made IMO. Great picture as well. That would have made a real nice picture for a Fordbarn Calendar....if only we had one . I figured we would lose that nice yearly calendar deal when Shelly gave up this site. I don't believe that Ryan has the same interests.

Actually Ryan has been doing the most awesome HAMB calendars for about 6 or 7 years now. The lastest one just mindblowingly perfect. Just give him a chance to get everything straight on the Ford Barn and if there is enough interested here I'm sure he will comply.

Thanks Denise.

Would enough of the people on the Barn buy the calendar?

http://jalopyjournal.myshopify.com/p...a-m-b-calendar

It's generally 50% Ford from year to year as much as I try to not be too terribly biased, but of course hot rods, not stockers.

Ryan's call but I think with the new format, it wouldn't be too difficult to do a FordBarn appropriate calendar at the same time. The template would already be there. Just a matter of picking different images and scale back some of the bells and whistles maybe. I think it would be fun.

""CALENDER"" Shelly said she would do a calender if it would be OK with Ryan ?? this was early in the new barn change-over ?? The OLD BARN CALENDER was/is (priceless) and was all flathead and people.
How do we persue this ?? and not get black-balled ....OLD...BILL

Bill, I remember Shelly making that offer on a post here in early 2010. Evidently no one here took her up on that offer. I may have been up for buying a HAMB calendar but since I rarely go on that website, I knew nothing about their calendar. Maybe we can get someone thinking about doing a Fordbarn calendar for 2012
