What does a 35-40 frame weigh?
Found a 39 bare frame for sale and I was wondering what the frame would weigh?
I pretty sure. 2 guys can pick one up but wondering about the weight. |

Re: What does a 35-40 frame weigh?
I'd estimate between 250 and 300 pounds. My dad and I moved my '36's frame around without too much trouble and I'm just a 135-ppound weakling!

My guess of a stripped one with no exhaust approximately 200- 225 lbs

Re: What does a 35-40 frame weigh?
Without the suspension I would imagine less than 200 pounds...I have moved a bare 39 frame by myself numerous times...two people could carry it like a stretcher with no problem at all. The weight goes up quickly with the springs, front axle, and rear end.

I am guessing you are about right. I too move them by myself w/o much effort.

I move them around by myself, so not that heavy. I would also guess under 200.
