Default Another fuel pump question....

Anyone have any experience with an Autobest F4027 electric fuel pump? I was told it is a 12 volt pump that can run on 6 volts. Any truth to that??

Thanks

Tom

I believe most 12 volt pumps will run on 6 volts but pump less fuel at a lower pressure which might be good if you like electric pumps, I don't. G.M.

I have a 6v inline pump just as a backup. I use it if the car has set for a long time to fill the carb. and will use it if the mechanical pump ever lets me down.
