Default horn wire

I have to replace the horn wire on my 48. Can someone please tell me the correct route for the wire once it exits the steering box. The present wire has been run through the chassis rail hole at the front of the box. The new wire which is a repop is too short to go this way. The original wire had been modified.

thanks

Is there a wiring diagram in the owners' Manual.
I have couple of the seashell type if you're interested.

Hi Chris

The horns work fine thanks and I know where the wire connects, I just need to know the route it takes to get there once it exits the bottom of the steering box.

Graeme......I have a '40 Sedan and just rewoked the wiring and relay. I bought the wiring kit and found a NOS relay. The wiring went down the center of steeering column and comes out a bottom of the gear box. That wire has a male bullet nose connectoer. On the NOS relay....it had a female connector with wire from it which was approx 12" long.
