Default The Twenty Millionth Ford

Anybody know where it is today? I know Ford leased it for 10 years 14 years ago. I'd like to look at it before I paint my black 31 SW/TS. http://www.mafca.com/downloads/Restorer/20M_2001.pdf

It was up in Marquette for the MAFCA National Meet in 2012. As far as I know it is still up there in the U.P. of Michigan. I will try to attach a picture of it that I have. I took 5 or 6 pictures of it if you want more.

Maybe you could paint it as the 20,000,001st Ford?

Well, somebody must have had that distinction?

I was thinking it might be back in the Keweenaw. Mine was built a month prior. I think you are on to something Joe.

Don't forget the roof. Henry even painted the number on the roof for low flying aircraft to see his car.

Does anyone have any pictures of the various ceremonial 20,000,000 license plates that a lot of the states gave to the car when it was on the national tour?

Thanks

Thank you so much Jerry. I can now paint my car to look like the Twenty Millionth sans the graphics.

I had the privilege of seeing that car up close in '03 at the National Meet in Dearborn in the Hyatt Lobby. It was neat to see that car close up. Don't know where it is now.

The car was with it's owner in Jerry's 2012 pictures. It's probably still with it's owner in the UP. Maybe someone knows Rod. I found what I was looking for thanks to Jerry.

Yes the car was originally ford maroon but they decided to paint it blacl because that was what everyone thinks it was. It was hard to tell the difference between the black and maroon in black and white pictures.
