Default Internal electric fuel pump with float sender

Has anyone adapted an aftermarket intank fuel pump with gauge float for 1940-1953 Fords with stock fuel tanks?

Scott
AFAIK all the aftermarket (in-tank) pumps are all 12 volt and high pressure- 45# and more.
I have been told, but have not researched, that up to 1978 some Toyotas had in tank LOW pressure pumps that might be useful in an old carburetored Ford. These would also be 12 volts.
I've never heard of a in tank pump with a guage float, but I live under a rock a lot of the time.

Ford mustang svo 4 cyl 1984 had a low pressure fuel pump as the engine had a carb. If my memory cells are correct. I have one in my 34 5w that I modified to mount in a repro 34 tank. Getting all the parts to fit into the hole of the tank is the hard part if you added a sending unit onto it.

Seems like the sending unit is the rub to this problem, good alternatives for the fuel pump though.
