Default 1938 pickup spare tire rack

I have part of a spare tire holder, the verticle support that bolts down to the running board.I understand that there are additional brackets which I need, I was wondering if someone could give me a close-up picture of these in order for me to fabricate them. Thanks Joe

There is a spare mounting flange that would be difficult to fabricate as well as a top strap that would be difficult to fabricate. There is a stiffener that is strap like that would be easy to fabricate and a hollow rod that looks much like a piece of pie that would be easy to fabricate. If you email me at [email protected] I can email you pictures of the complete setup tomorrow morning. Be sure you have the correct rod like piece...the 35 is not the same, nor is the 36/7.

If you have the green 28-48 Ford parts book, look on page 12 and you will see an exploded view of the spare tire carrier.
