i can't believe anyone will bid without an itemized list. Obviously he should have listed located for shipping costs to be calculated.

They are in Oklahoma, click on the shipping tab. That is a bad type of ad. In the first place it is listed as a car ether by mistake or to avoid fees, Some may say great but like shop lifting it affects everyone that buys and sells. No list of whats for sale just some bad photos of a bunch of stuff in bins on shelves so you don't know what you are bidding on or even to ask questions. I wish them good luck.

As the item is not listed correctly to avoid fees it can be reported using the link on the auction site.

Report item

This is common on EBAY. It is a cheap way to advertise things and get a large audience. How many '34 Ford sedan deliveries sell for 175,000.00 Or how many 50's Chevy Suburbans sell for 200,000.00 ? Just like the Goodyuys Gazette, it is all about putting a high number on something and hoping to find a sucker.

Did he happen to say what he is selling or whether a list is available ? I will be surprised if he is a legitimate seller.

Ya, I just got an eMail from him as well. He also attached a 21 page list of the inventory.

No clue why he listed it as a 1931 Model A ford

'legitimate seller' or not, ebay practices are what should be questioned in such cases, IMO. Where the heck is the 1931 Model A ? It is ebays site, no question there, but I think that they are practicing BAD business and asking for trouble , to even allow this type 'thing' to go on. Best evidence is that this 'ad' will end without any response. But, hey, a guy could buy a lot of different dirty looking boxes ?

Maybe someone here lives "a little west of Bristow, OK" and could go look at it and give us a report. It seems to be somewhere between Tulsa and OKC.

Would of been a smart move to list these parts weeks before Hershey... A flea market vendor might of bought this lot to sell there.
