Re: Need some help with the 31cowl area
On the inside of the cowl , near to the bottom you'll find one nut on each side of the cowl . ( close were the front bolt to chassis is ) if you take them out the cowl band will come off. Good luck,

Re: Need some help with the 31cowl area
The cowl band has threaded rods at each end with a nut. Follow the band to the end and feel in the inside corner of the cowl, you'll feel the nut. Pretty easy to get off. My problem was getting the back hood bracket off. Mine mounted over the cowl band and the nuts on the underside kept turning in their keeper.
