This is a REAL shock! We just exchanged emails 3 days ago discussing his "new" engine. I can't believe it. This is not only sad but stunning.

My strongest condolences to all who were close to Paul.

JWL

PS--If this is true, it is exactly the way I want to check out. Having maximum fun one day and gone the next.

Never met in person, but exchanged PMs. What a nice guy. Prayers for his wife and family.

Truly shocking news. Just pulls the rug out from under you. The last few years, I have experienced the passing of several of my BEST friends. It hurts and leaves you numb.
God speed Paul.

Wow! I met Paul this summer when he stopped by to pick up some shifter parts I had for his panel truck project. Neat guy! Living his dream. He was a big inspiration to me. Sad.

Paul was one of the coolest car guys I have met to date. I always enjoyed talking with he at the car show and on line. This is a said day in the hot rod world. I hope I can drive my ride half as much as he did his.

I'd be honored if I could add my codolences here, for Paul's family, and for his fine friends.

Although I did not know him personally, he seemed like a nice guy to know. I'm sorry to hear of his passing so suddenly. I enjoyed reading his posts, as I do reading others here. It's like a close knit family here, and is so sad to lose a member of the family. I will say a prayer for his wife and all the members of his family. He will be missed!

I'm truly saddened by that news. I was hoping to meet up with Paul on one of his trips to Bonneville. I'll never forget his picture posts on the salt flats in his nice roadster. Rest in peace AV8Paul. You will be missed by everyone.
