Default Fh score!

Thought that I would share the love (of flatheads) with this little honey that I picked up yesterday.
(If someone can turn it; can't figure out why it does this)

Thanks!
I realize that it's not restored, but it's going in my 33 5W, which isn't either.
Edelbrock Regular Hi-Rise(!), Fenton heads (8BA)(??), nice big number 97's, NOS aircleaners, 39 tranny. Plus a Brookville 32 grille shell and some other goodies.

Looks good. Looks like a an 8BA block with 59ab water pumps. Do you know what the bore and stroke is and does it a performance cam? Walt

Nice! Great vintage combo. Love those heads!! Be careful with the choking aircleaners. Tune without first then decide if you want to use them.

Definitely a 59 block; can't explain the 8BA heads.
Don't know about the cam or any other internals, yet.
Plan to put those heads on my 8BA for my 36, and put some 59AB types I have on this engine.
(Well, #%*!, flipped the pic again)

Quit running that engine on alcohol and maybe it'll stop doing that.

That would be "a Brookville 32 grille shell and some other goodies" came with the purchase of the flathead. And the flathead will go into Bill's '33. Ugh, another hot rod project using genuine old timey parts on the Ford Barn. Can't wait to see it.
